Omakase booking tips
How to actually get a seat at a top sushi counter.

- Use booking platforms such as Omakase, TableCheck or Tabelog's reservation system
- Ask your hotel concierge — some counters only take reservations via hotels or Japanese phone numbers
- Book 1–2 months ahead; seats release on set days
- Tell them about allergies when booking — changes on the day are difficult
- Arrive on time; late arrivals may be refused
